Ok here's the question

I need to come up w/a problem that makes this statement untrue

The quotient of two proper fractions is a proper fraction

1/2 divided by 1/3 = 3/2

both are proper fractions, but the result is an improper fraction.

1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2

How about using 1/2 divided by 1/2. That way your answer would be 2/2. Would you call that proper?

If the numerator of the divisor proper fraction is zero, the quotient is undefined.

That's a geometry question...? I don't think so... That's just simple arithmetic...

(½)/(½) = ½ x 2 = 2/2 = 1
