I found it very moving and It still saddens me that the gulf states are still a waste land and nothing has really been done. I hope we all learned a valuable lesson and I hope this never ever happens to Americans again. Good Job Mr. Lee....

No, I didn't see the special, but I have read and herd much about the devastation that is still there.
Knowing Spike Lee's work, I am sure that he is trying to emphasize the fact that our own government has turned it's back on it's own people in the name of oil rights in the middle east.
It is a shame that when a far off country has a natural disaster, our government is sending supplies and money in a matter of hours. But when a disaster happens on our own soil, the government is so bogged down with bureaucratic nonsense that we can not even help our own people.
This is an administration that is so out of touch with it's own constituents that it basically ignores the skyrocketing fuel prices. But that's what happens when we elect an oil baron as our president.

I hope they use another way to get the film out to the public. I wanted to see it, but I do not have HBO.

I did'nt see the special...do not have cable. I'll be watching to see what others thought. My first reaction is that I'm not a big fan of Lee.
