Would the children now a days be so uneducated, obese, undisciplined, and materialistic. We have allowed the school system, daycares, television, video games, any 1 or thing but the parents raise the kids. What does that say about our future.

Three cheers to you for bringing this up! I've thought about this very same thing and sincerely believe that if more women did or COULD (said in all caps so as to avoid getting chewed out by those who are single mothers or whatever) stay home, then perhaps these children would not be in such a sad state.

Thank you and bravo to you for vocalizing your thoughts even if it's not P.C. :)

it really is moms fault households want 2 jobs to easily pay the expenditures? it really is mom's fault that gas is very just about $4.00 a gallon! it really is mom's fault that rents run $12,000 a three hundred and sixty 5 days out of the vast cities, or maybe more desirable in them! it really is mom's fault that electric powered expenditures are on the breaking point of $three hundred.00 a month! it quite is a sizable leap! Watch Ironed Hawed Angels with Hillary Swank sometime and be conscious how women persons were given the right to vote, and that wasn't till Wilson's 2d time period! Watch it even with the undeniable fact that, you would possibly want to earnings something!

I am not going to debate the women's rights issue since I support all but the ERA (not needed).
I only point out that even with the rights's movement our children are still under-educated, 1 out of 3 kids in California are over weight or obese and over 50% of kids seem to have cell phones, ipods and other materialistic things. And with the high rate of women in the work force (no argument here) that degrades the traditional parent (yes, mom) of raising the child. You have to balance women's rights with the impact it may lead to when you blame the schools, centers, TV, etc on the problems with our kids.

I'm just glad my son is 21 and we seemed have done OK. And yes, his mother remained home with him during his school years. And yes, I made enough money to make it possible. But we didn't buy new cars every 2 years.... You make sacrifices to take care of you child regardless of rights.

well

First of all I believe in the women's movement and equal rights, I don't think that most of the things you have listed are related but I do think that people now a days, especially some women wouldnt be so vualgur and I think it has freed people to be so sexually active.

Now because of the high cost of living has pushed our kids on to someone, anyone else. Some people actually THNIK it's other's reponsibility to raise their children, it's annoying

How do you connect the women's movement with your rant about young people? Are you trying to be provocative? Because there is no reasonable connection here. It's seems you are just slamming Women and children. Are you a white male?

It says that we women have to keep fighting to keep our rights and for more rights. Never let anyone tell you that females are only good for reproducing and raising kids. That's a whole lotta bologna.'
