crazayaznboi88,
You get it from both sides like I do? (lol) I mean, from the gay side and the Christian side as far as judgement?

Gary,
I tis true, that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God, but the Righteous. But how does one get righteous? By faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Not by works of the Law of Moses. But by faith.
So I have to disagree with you. Those verses apply to those not covered. I am covered. And note: Jesus is the friend of sinners. Those that thought they weren't were the ones He had disgreements with. At night, He partied with the sinners.

Mr. Fancy Pants,
It's great to confound the 'religious' with their prefectionist doctrine, isn't it?

cdfrx,
My Bible says that we are all sinners. Isn't that right? That means you, if you'll get honest with yourself, you'll see that's true.

My Bible also says that for faith we can gain all the promises of God.

Aren't you trying to convince me that you are somehow less of a sinner? Really now!

Cracker Smacker,
Yes. Do you remeber what Jesus said about that? He said that they would have repented if the miracles He did were done there. Do you understand that with His covering, we are declared His?

I am gay/bi and I am a Christian, a Catholic no less.
Forget what the churches and the priests tell you... the true undiluted message of Jesus is that he loves EVERYONE and forgives EVERYTHING and even Hell is just a crucible in which souls are made ready to stand before the Lord.

I am gay and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and Redeemer. I am reluctant to label myself "Christian" these days because the word has such a negative connotation. I have tried to rightly divide the "clobber passages" of the Old and New Testament with people who call themselves "Christians." Most of the time they just wander off in disgust or totally perplexed.

it's really getting quite tiresome...everytime anyone dares say anything about Gay/Lesbians/Bi being Christians...all the haters come in here spewing the same hateful crap. yes, you CAN be homosexual AND Christian. God created us all and he didn't make mistakes....if He didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any. those of you who constantly choose to point fingers and pass judgment...do you even really know what the Bible does, and does NOT say about homosexuals? I challenge you to go to the link below and read...although, I doubt the "haters" will even bother....judge not, lest ye be judged!

Yes. The Bible says that to be a Christian you have to accept Jesus. A gay person could do that. He/she would be a Christian. However, the Bible also condemns the ACT of homosexuality.

If you truly want to be a saved christian then you need to get real honest with yourself. Stop trying to justify your lifestyle on a message board. You seem like an intelligent person so I honestly do not believe you are trying to convince anyone on here you are right. You are trying to convince yourself you are right. And when you stop and get real honest with yourself you know you are living in sin.

There is no such things as a homosexual Christian...that's an oxymoraon.
Scripture condemns sodomy: see below...

and it says exactly why the wrath of God abides on the homosexuals:
" Wherfore God gave them up to uncleaness...to dishonor their bodies among themselves...Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worship and served the creature more than the Creator... FOR THIS CAUSE God gave them up to vile affections....and likewise the men also, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men,... receiving in themselves the just recompense for their error,... God gave then over to a reprobate mind,...(who were) filled with all unrighteousness, ...full of envy, murder, deceit,....haters of God,...proud,...without understanding,...who, knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things ARE WORTHY OF (ETERNAL DEATH)..." (Romans 1: 24-32)

Not a pretty picture for sodomites..
