Okay..DO NOT use a douche and DO NOT buy those feminine deoderizing sprays/wipes. Pure baby wipes are fine, but anything with scent/deoderant in it will simply irritate the delicate tissues of your vulva. Douching can also do the same thing, and is very drying.
A normal, healthy vagina should not have any unpleasant odor. This is typically a sign of bacterial vaginosis or another infection. You need to see a doctor right away, and in the meantime, keep the area clean with some gentle soap and water.

But seriously, if you have an embarrassing vaginal smell, it may be an infection, most likely a yeast infection, but possibly an STI. Get it treated by a doctor with antibiotics and/or fungicidal creams, which will ease a yeast infection.

Is everyone forgetting all that stuff you read about how it has an odor, and we're the most self conscious about it but normally it's not noticeable to others? But if it's foul, and you've cleaned it, see a doc.

First of all, keep it clean and wash it everyday. If the problem continues make an appointment with your gyno. you may have an infection.

It could mean that you have a bacterial infection. See your Gyn as soon as you can. Don't douche if it is bacterial they will have to do some testing.
