I can't even consider this because it will never happen. The USA played a major role in the creation of Israel and has played an enormous role in building their infrastructure and military... their success. It just won't happen... at least not in my lifetime.

United states should not cut ties with Israel, but do some soul searching for its wrong role in blindly siding with the Israelis after its creation. May be the US thought the Palestinian resistance will fade out, or may be the Palestinian will surrender, this gave encouragement to the Israelis to cause as much bloodshed as possible to subdue the resistance. Then the term terrorism was coined, Israelis felt happy on this branding of the people they had subdued with the help of USA and rest is now a recent history. American foriegn policy makers must think differently if they are really interested in the world peace.
