Ok my last peroid was 07/12/06, I'm now 2wks late. I seen my doctor last week and the blood work came back negative, but still no peroid. When taken a shower this morning and I turned to rise off the front of my I almost dropped to the floor because it felt like little pins going through my chest it hurt so bad. I called my doctor and he said it was my peroid coming, which I don't believe. I get spotting every now and then but nothing comes. I do have all the symtoms of being pregnant but I just can not figure out whats going on. My doctor will not do an ultrasound cause he said it will not show him anything.
Someone please help me understand what might be going on.

sometimes when your uterus contracts which is normal for women you will get the kind of pain you described but i would get a second opinion. good luck & God bless

If your blood test came back negative then you aren't pregnant. Sorry. As for the pain I don't know what that is. After 8/12 a over the counter test would have shown a + so the blood test would have definitely there for there is no reason for an ultrasound . The symptoms of pregnancy can be symptoms for your period and a number of other things, and unless your Dr is a total incompetent listen to him.

It is very possible that you just have an irregular cycle... If your doctor performed a blood test and it came back negative your not pregnant...If your doctor did an ultra sound at this point it would show nothing.

an ultrasound will do no good. the blood test is the most accurate you're going to get. Sorry, but it's the truth. Sometimes your body can want to be pregnant so bad that it tricks itself into thinking it is and has the symptoms

One of my friends had the same thing going on, it turns out that she is diabetic. Maybe go have some blood work done and switch Dr.'s

either you are young and you are just getting started your menstration or you are pregnant but it isnt showing.try another doc
