I use ponds clean sweep cleansing cloths to remove my eyeshadow first and then I fold the cleansing cloth in half placed under my eye and use a q-tip soaked with baby oil and rub my lahses against the cloth to rid my waterproof mascara. if you're not using waterproof mascara, the cleansing cloth are good alone to rid the mascara.

I have heard that soaking a cotton ball in eye makeup remover, then placing it on each eye lid for a minute, then gently wiping it off will work pretty nicely. You want to soak it on your eyes because if you don't, you will find yourself rubbing a lot harder and stretching your skin out more than you should.

I wear waterproof mascara which is also very hard to get off and requires a small degree of rubbing.
Try this - get a cotton pad (flat) and soak it in eye make up remover (Chanel does a great one) and place it under your eye (also depuffs!), then initially, soak another pad and let it rest for a minute.
Then using a cotton bud (q tip), dip it into the eye make up remover and press it into the cotton pad which is under your eye. If you do this you dont rub the skin under your eyes, but you are also putting concentrated amounts of make up remover to your eyelashes.
It works for me!

Clinque's eye make-up mover is good. Baby oil works better than Vaseline though. With Vaseline you still have to tug and pull to get the Vaseline off. Another option is water soluble eye make-up. Much easier to remove.

You should try an eye makeup remover. Mary Kay has the BEST oilfree eye makeup remover EVER, so that's what I would recommend, but try to find one that is gentle and says oil free and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)

There are make-up remover wipes they sell at any store like walmart. They easily wipe off the makeup so there is no need for any hard rubbing.

use vaseline.
rub some on both of your eyes...
then take a warm washrag
and rub it off.
and then flip the rag the other way...
[the side with no eyemakup]
then wipe you face off...
NO vaseline...on the face...
it will clog your pores and make you break out.
but seriously...
the vaseline WILL take your eyemakeup all off!
and it won`t stretch out your skin.

I use this worderful make up removing oil by a company called Botanistry. The main ingredient is olive oil. When I run out I try straight olive oil it is pretty good. Maybe you can try some olive oil.
