Or a website...or something. It doesn't matter what the statue is of.

Seriously. This is going to be a family tradition starting with my generation.

Small sculptures of the heads of all my family members, and then their children, and theirs.

It's not a ego thing.

Check out Eleganza. They are an art house that deals especially in sculpture. I've bought a couple of reproductions and they were nice. They will do custom sculptures, just like you are describing. I don't know how much, but I would make a wild guess and say at least $1000. But it could be $5,000. The reproductions I bought were in the $250 to $350 range.

I have no connection to them, other than as a happy customer.

First of all. One must know the substance or medium of what you use to make the statue of yourself. Lifesize. or smaller, dimentions are important. Plaster. Clay. Iron. Paper mache' ,just to name a few. A ceramic statue. can be made, 25 lbs of clay. for aorund 25.dollars. , but you will need a lot. for the excess of what you carve away. . I did not look this up. for I would have to know how big you are to give you an exact number. Hope you find the right art items to embark on this difficult project.

How big is the statue going to be? A six inch tall statue made out of Play-Doh is a whole lot cheaper than a 12 foot tall marble statue.

Make it out of papier-mache, and it will cost you pennies. Free if you can get the newspaper and flour from someone else.
