When I put on my makeup it looks good, but a few hours later it seems like I didn't even put any on!

Before applying your makeup, clean your face with with a facial cleanser or exfoliant, then apply a light layer of moisturizer to your entire face. This makes my makeup last all day. Also, I use Bare Minerals makeup, which I love... you should definitely try it. It's worth every penny.
I tried every kind of liquid foundation out there, but they all wore off throughout the day... I'm telling you, it seems implausible, but the powder mineral makeup really seems to stick.

Before applying your make up, apply oil-free moisturizer to your skin, then apply your foundation, after you are done pat your face with some powder, it sets in your makeup. Revlon has a really good long lasting makeup.

Smashbox also makes a great makeup primer.
You may want to try a long-wearing foundation like Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place with SPF or Revlon Colorstay.

It depends on what kind of skin you have and what kind of makeup you use. Makeup does tend to sweat off or absorb into oily skin. So you should try using a makeup formula for oily skin and a more absorbent powder. Or if your skin is normal or dry, maybe you should use a makeup that gives you more coverage.

Well, looks like u need to change your brand, also a moisturizer helps make makeup stay oil free, and spf though

well here are some great free tips u can do at home just wsh ur face before applying any foundation and wsh it good and dry it good
and then use a sunscreen or a creme or lotion before so ur skin can be fresh and soft this also helps stay ur makeup longer

if you have a liquid foundation (best)afterwards put on a broken powder (like dust not in a compact) afterwards, it bonds and stays on for awhile. also if you wash your face right before you put it on. and if yo hae oily skin, find a foundation that works with your oily skin.
