So for anyone that has read the book, could you please give me an example of one of these things. If I remember right there's a guy who memorizes books so he doens't have to rely on paper. It's situationally ironic that in an attempt to supress free thinking the government has forced it's citizens to epend more mental effort than would have been necessary had they allowed books to remain. Noone in today's world would memorize a book. The paper it's written on allows us not to have to do that. The increased mental activity was the opposite of what the government intended. Seems ironic.

Fahrenheit 451 refers to the temperature at which paper begins to burn. If you will recall, books and written word were totally banned and "firemen" were paid to set fire to illegal stashes of books.

its set in the future where, people commit suicide a lot, yet the medics didn't find it serious, they replace blood, but while they do it they smoke, and act like a bum literally, the firemen burn books and houses if there is literature, the government is attempting to make the land stupider as in they have a schedule for you to do something rather than freedom, they have robot style dogs that replace living dogs, anything else just IM me

Here's another one:
I'd call it tragic irony but I'll leave it up to you to decide how to classify it.

'Happiness is important. Fun is everything. And yet I kept sitting there saying to myself, I'm not happy, I'm not happy.'
