i've been on depo provera (a.k.a the shot) for about 3 years and everythings been fine up til now. recently i've been cramping really bad but theres no bleeding or spotting at all which is supposed to happen cause the shot will stop your periods, but the cramping has been going on for about 3 weeks now, anyone had this happen or have any ideas? alot of sites i've been on say it might be pregnancy but is there other things it can be? help please? thanks in advance!

You should see your doc for any female changes that you feel are out of the ordinary. You know your body better than anyone else and if you feel that something isn't normal then you should have it checked out. It could be something such as a cyst or even endometriosis...neither of which you want to let go too long. Make an appointment for a well-woman exam and tell your doc about it. They will know from an exam if there is anything to worried about or whether further workup needs to be done.

This has happened to me. I went to the doctor and they said that you're not suppose to be on depo provera for more that 2 years because it causes side effects. Bad ones, such as osteroprosis and crap like that. you should get off of it asap and talk to a doctor

I had a similar ingredient throughout the time of my first being pregnant. Scared me to loss of life. I called the well being practitioner on call and his reaction replaced into "you're probable miscarrying". He "clinically determined" me without seeing me and that i particular theory i replaced into going to lose the toddler. Any bleeding you may see your well being practitioner yet I had cramping plenty throughout the time of my first trimester and then lower back interior the third trimester. I "observed" with 2 of my pregnancies. even though it rather is probable in basic terms high quality, it rather is a sturdy theory to debate it with your well being practitioner. you will locate your being pregnant would desire to be completely diverse than somebody elses. do no longer enable that scare you. terrific desires

It might be a side effect of the shot but I would really go to your doctor about it. Good luck sweetheart.

It may be pregnancy. Although the shot greatly reduces your possibility of getting pregnant, it's still possible.

hmmm lets see how much sense that makes....could be a pregnancy but no visit to clinic to find out for sure. you need your head examined. but first go see nurse practitioner or doctor to find out what else is really wrong.

Why would you stay on that crap for 3 years. Use it When you need it. Unless you need it everyday (holy crap), choose a better method.
