If Jekyll and Hyde was made into a feature film, don't you think Tim Burton should direct, and Johnny Depp would play the lead very well?

Tim Burton as a director would be good, but I think Depp's face is to recognizable. He could no doubt do the role amazingly, but he would cast the other actors in shadow. A talented nobody would be better.

I think that Tim Burton would be an excellent director and Johnny Depp would be pretty good but maybe not as Jekyll maybe as another character.

Although the Jekyll and Hyde story has been numerous times treated as a feature film (one of the best being Mary Reilly), Burton's take on it would be interesting. He will give it a Gothic, dark, look that the story needs to develop.

Depp's performance would be great, yet I am not sure that the public is ready to see him in another role that is not named Captain Jack Sparrow for now.

I agree that Tim Burton would be a good director, but I don't think that Johnny Depp would be good in it.

Uh no, Johnny Depp couldn't do that. Great actor and all but the voice would be wrong. And there's many Dr. Jeckell and Mr. Hyde movies (Mary Reilly for one, sorry I like that movie, even though it's a little weird)

this is sort of off-topic, but still kinda related...

i really liked the movie 'me, myself, & irene' directed by the farrelly brothers, starring jim carrey and renee zellweger (she looks so much better in this movie than she did in the bridget jones movies). it's basically a modern-day jekyll and hyde thing...

this mild-mannered policeman puts up with a lot of crap and just buries all the resentment inside of himself until it finally bursts out and he develops 'advanced delusionary schizophrenia with involuntary narcissistic rage'. basically he gets a split personality and all this hilarious stuff happens...

VERY crude humor!!! ;)
