Intelligence and success... is wealth a measure of them?

Tori Spelling is wealthy
Britney Spears is wealthy
Nicole Richie is wealthy
George Bush is wealthy

Would you consider these people intelligent?
How do you define success? google "failure" and Georges name is in the top three, from the Whitehouse.gov domain no less! Left to their own devices these people would have starved to death.

I grew up picking cotton, dropped out of school joined the Army, I am currently comfortably retired at 46, and I don't count on a retirement check, Am I wealthy? Most of the wealthy people in my neighborhood must still work, matter of viewpoint.
Am I Successful? same, I am satisfied.
I am not stupid and I have common sense.
(I did get my GED early on)

Wealth can be gotten by many means and their are a multitude of brilliant folk who will never be wealthy.

I believe hunger will make you rich, Most of the super rich in america throughout history (not inheritance trolls) were dropouts but they had the hunger, Me I don't have to be smart, I can hire smart people.

I do not believe that wealth is a measure of intelligence or success. I'm an extremely conservative republican. Success is measured by how many people genuinely care for you.

No. Wealth is a birth right with few exceptions.

The American illusion, er dream, is that if you work hard enough making others wealthier you will be justly rewarded.

In some cases but not all. Just cause daddy tossed a couple mil at you doesn't mean you fit into either category..
