At that age, the best ideas are babysitting, housesitting, petsitting, lawncare, housecleaning, painting, etc. These types of odd jobs don't pay alot, but it's good to gain some work experience, so that when you turn 16, you'll have some good references to use when you apply for jobs at fast food restaurants, retail stores, etc.

it depends on where you are from in my area 14-15 year old can
work up to 16 hrs a week and not before 4 p.m. and not after 6:45 p.m. m-f and sat and sun they can work during the hours of 7 am and 7 pm just check your state laws

a traditional job for a kid is a newspaper round check your newsagents the pay is crap but it's a job, there may be other distributing jobs dropping leaflets as well (ok im a city dweller if you live somewhere houses are miles apart this wont be an option)

unless you work for a relative you are not allowed to work until you are 16 years old...or...deliver papers, cut grass, odd jobs here and there.
