I am making a movie about teenagers who have great lives when they were a lot younger. The movie is based on the song 'The Kids aren't Alright" by the Offspring and I would like more songs that are of that genre about that same thing.

Depends.

If it is a drama, I would dislike it, it would feel too much like one of those dumb WB teen dramas.

Now, turn it into a comedy, and I would like it, and it would STILL deliver some meaning. Like, have a kid that was a druggie when he was a kid, and now is the CEO of some big company, and thinks that being a druggie with his pals is so much better than being rich and powerful. Its funny, and has meaning. It shows that people are never happy with what they have.

well, if you want songs about teenagers hating what their lives have become, then skip ahead to the punk-rock/emo genre. good luck with your movie.
