Curb your Enthusiasm stars Larry David who was a writer on Seinfield. I think that it is so funny! It's on HBO but you can get all the seasons on DVD. It has the same Seinfield sort of humor only a little more because they can push the limits more on HBO.

I am italian and a huge fan of Seinfeld as well. I'm sad to say that I have yet to find a show quite like it.
The Daily show and Corbet Report is pretty funny on Comedy Central. That's about it for smart and funny.
Hope we find one soon, I'm dying over here!

I don't know of any that were/are funnier, but one that makes me laugh almost as much is the U.S. version of The Office. Haven't seen the BBC version yet.
