Well, how about unemployment lower than during the Clinton Years. How about the economy and stock market going up rather than down as they started doing the year before Clinton left office. As you should know it is too early to make a decision about Iraq. If they succeed in making a democracy out of Iraq, then someone will likely win the Peace Prize. Did you hear about Iran trying to get nukes? No, it is not just the Reps who think that. Now we have them surrounded. The war against the Hezbollah is a failure? A little to early to tell that also. Sounds like the problem is with France that only wants to commit 200 troops. Oh, yes, a majority of voters reelected the Reps so from your point of view that must be a failure too. BTW, I'm a registered Democrat.

Do you mean all Republicans?
Well let's see Lincoln did some pretty good things like the issue of abolishing slavery, which I believe all Americans support.
Grant won the Civil War and oversaw the ratification of the 15th Amendment and civil rights laws.
Garfield kept his promise of serving no more than one term.
There have been 18 Republican Presidents and they all have done some good things.

Now if this a bash bush question I think one has to be intellectually honest, not listen to the socialist propaganda and you will see the current President has had a good effect in certain areas as well.

Federal revenues have never been higher by any measurement, this was due to a tax cut which has significantly stimulated the economy and thus tax revenues. Unemployment is as low as it has ever been. The stock market is clicking right along better than ever before but what can one man really do against the stock market. Interest rates are good which is a sign of sound economic policy. We have not had a terrorist attack in the US since 9/11.

Anyway if you are honest you can find lots of things that were positively influenced by the President. If you are an intellectual liar you can go on with your irrational hatred of one man.

Why does everyone blame Bush -- do you think he sits around the Oval Office and looks at satellite feeds of the entire world, is a double agent in foreign countries, pours over every budget item in the Federal Government's budget? Nooooo......he has a whole fleet of Cabinet members, advisors and agencies who do this and then those people give him daily reports which give him massive amounts of information. We all know information can be manipulated and interpreted incorrectly and even contain flaws depending upon how much data is being collected and the methods by which they are collected.

This poor man has to then make decisions with many many variables not the least of which is 200+ years of history, the judicial and legislative branches of government.

Do you expect perfection from mere mortals? We are all just as responsible for how our government behaves as we (the ones who vote and communicate with our representatives) have a voice. We have the priviledge of writing our Congress and bringing injustice before the Supreme Court -- but most people would rather sit on this web site and complain than write a letter to the people that can actually do something about the issues that bother them.

Why do you think Bush has more power than given by the Constitution? Because no one raised their hand and said they participated in the bugging of phone lines when there was public outrage? Bush and Israel are the scapegoats of the world.

I just heard a preacher say that a people that is afraid of their government live in a dictatorship and a government that fears the people is a democracy. We apparently live in a dictatorship from what the average person and media says on a daily basis.

However, we are a democracy and I am tired of apathy toward DOING and the proliferation of complaining without action to change the world through the means we have at our disposal.

RISE UP and DO something or be silent because you have given all power to the people who are in office so it is you who is driving the way the world is going by your lack of participation.

I have volunteered to work for a Presidential candidate's exploratory committee and posted a question soliciting feedback on issues that matter to them and only 4 people responded.

Post a question about how great Satan is and at least 30 people respond -- what is wrong with this picture?

Iraq -- not our fault, we're not bombing people, we are the police.
Hezbollah -- not our fault, we weren't at war with them.
Nation divided -- not Republicans fault, it's the Democrats because the Republicans are in power and the Democrats won't help them -- also see our responsibility above.
Deficit & debt -- not our fault, natural disasters in US and globally -- we are attempting to help the world as we always have.
Chavez -- don't know enough to comment.

The administration (Cheney) said referred to the situation as a Civil War this week. The Sunni and Shiites have divided into seperate sections due to the violance.

I can't think of one thing. This president thinks he's the king of America.

Ike warned us against the military-industrial complex that we have today.

Party labels don't really mean much. The Republican Party of today is almost completely 180 degrees from the GOP of a decade ago.

Nothing! They lie, cheat, and keep feeding the American people the same can of SH#@, and somehow they stay in power! It is unbelievable to me. What they have done has worked for THEM, and i don't mean Reps in general I mean the ones (Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld,Rice) that are in power, and they continue to push and lie to the American people...hopefully we are waking up from this Republican nightmare........
