felipe calderon won but Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (the opposing party candidate) doesnt accept it and say that they cheated and right now they are re countin some votes. and ppl who support the opposing party are protesting in mexico city

The whole government is corrupt. As a result of this, I hear that the country is on the brink of civil war,

yes mexico did elect a new president but it was a very close race that the loosing canidate wants a recount because it was rigged or something like that but the current president is still vicente fox
