-scramble words are always fun
instead of the usual words you would normally use for the scramble, use word like colic, birthing room, breastfeeding, fussy...stuff like that (allow 2 minutes for this game)
This was fun because this made the scramble a little hard and you had to think. Making it where you didn't have like 5 people with high numbers.
-what's in the diaper
get like 6 diapers and get various candies (melt the candy and dump into diaper)
the candies that we used were hershey almond (you can leave the almond in there if you want), nestle crunch, 100 grand milkyway, reeses pb cup, and 3 musketeers. This was fun because the guest had a hard time figuring out the hershey almond and 100 grand. (have them to pass it around and they can look in the diaper and allow 2-3 minutes for the whole game)
or you can use anything else like chili powder or apple jelly...something like that
-guess the baby food
get like 6 different varies of baby food, take the label off of the jar and number the top. Pass around the jars(the guest can not open the jars) and have them to guess what baby food is in jar 1-6? (allow 2 minutes for the whole game)
This game is always fun to play. The guest can never guess the food.
-Egg baby
Ya'll know about the clothes pin game, well instead of the clothes pin game. You'll use eggs, harboil the eggs and put a little ribbon or dye the eggs. Give each guest as they enter an egg. They must keep track and take care of their eggs, they can not write on the egg to make sure its theirs.
At the end of the baby shower check all of the guests' eggs.
The egg should be free of cracks, dents, and marks. Those that have kept track and taken good care of their egg get a little small trinket.
A lot of people left and forgot their egg and some accidentally set it on the plate with their food and it gotten thrown away. lol
Hope this helped.
congratulations and happy baby showering : )

There is the baby food game where you take the labels off baby food jars and label them each with a different number and write down what numer is what baby food on a separate sheet of paper and pass the baby foods around and have the guests write down which number they think is which food, (you can either keep the jars closed or you can hand out plastic spoons and let the guests taste and smell the foods), there is also the game where you take a small to mid size gift bag and fill it with newborn baby items such as a binky, cotton ball, diaper pin, cue tip, bottle, sock or bootie, medicine dropper, things of that nature and have the guests feel the items inside (but not look) then they have to write down as many items from the bag as they can. there is also the baby word jumble where you pick a topic like "shopping for the baby" then jumble words like Formula, diapers, wipes, recieving blankets, gas drops and things of that nature on a piece of paper and run off a copy for each guest, then set a timer and have the guests unscramble as many of the words as possible in the specified time.

this isn't really a game, but is nice for the baby and mom. get a baby bottle and count out enough jelly beans to fill it. then you need to purchase a nice piggy bank. you put the bottle and the piggy bank on a table and people put money in the piggy bank to have a chance to guess how many jelly beans are in the bottle. whoever is closest wins a prize and the baby has money for a savings account started. another thing to do is get a scrapbook and have everyone sign it as a guest book and then you can put the pictures from the shower in it and give it to her when the baby is born.

The toliet paper diaper game. Split into two teams. Use toliet paper and tape to create the best diaper on the person of your choice, to be judged by the mommy. Do it in under 5 minutes. It is harder than it sounds and alot of fun!

You could fill baby bottles with milk/juice (or whatever) and see who can drink it the fastest. Also you can do charades and have people act out things that have to do with babies/pregnancy. I like the suggestions above about the names and coming up with words. Also the making diapers out of toilet paper. You could also have a "name that nursery rhyme" contest. Here's a good site to go to if you want:

Or "continually activate a easy while changing #2 diapers interior the midst of the night...) that's advisable to have the hostess set an occasion of this by ability of writing her little advice so people do no longer write long drawn out formative years memories. additionally in case you look online, there'll be web content for making plans stable infant showers. We additionally had stickers on the bottoms of the plates that have been "door prizes" it grow to be exciting. have a stable time at yours!
