It's all about the new vs the old. Excitement vs comfortable prediction. But let's not put the issue on the shoulders of the wife. If a man cannot honor his marriage and seeks his thrilling moments outside of the marriage, he is failing to recognize the gifts of reliability, steadfastness, comfort, integrity, genuineness, honesty, interdependency and a host of others that marriage affords. He is in another relationship to stroke his ego.....or, as the case most likely is, have someone stroke it for him. And he is blaming the wife, most of the time, when the error is in his ways, not hers. The mistress makes him feel like a whole new man! The wife will fix meatloaf on Tuesday and will do his laundry on Thursday, will pick up the kids from school daily, will be the actual caretaker but the husband will place little importance on that role and risk all for that one slice of "I'm such a MAN!" The wife does the true caring......but the mistress panders to his desire to feel like the all-knowing master of all things sexual. Sucks, but there it is.

Men only want the mistress to think he is treating her better than the wife so she will stay around. How many other women are going to stick around if the man tells her that he just wants some on the side but he has no intentions on leaving his wife. Most married men have no intentions on leaving their marriage. They might be forced into it if they get caught and the wife leaves. He still just sees the other woman as a whore.
1) Who spends holidays with the husband? The wife.
2) Who sleeps with the man every night? The wife.
3) Who goes on vacations with the husband? The wife.
4) Who benefits from the husbands paycheck? The wife.
5) Who goes to family events and work functions with the husband? The wife.
6) Who is the husband with on weekends? The wife.

That's not true. And basically there would be no mistress if our wives would start sleeping with us. I swear men were not meant to be monogamous and the way women treat their men proves it. Women who get a man to settle or right after they have a baby will start rationing sex. It seems like nature made women turn into jerks just so men would not be idiots and settle down.

Because they no longer have to impress the wife. Wife's will put up with their crap, while most mistresses won't. It's easier for a mistress to leave the relationship than it is for a wife and the men know this.

because men who cheat find women who are promiscuous, and uninhibited in most cases, mistresses usually do everything the wife WON'T do. wives of said men are usually uptight, dead in bed, or are too busy to pay attention to their men. Most men will treat people just like they are treated. wives can treat their hubbies like crap, and mistresses will turn around and treat them like gold. hope this answers your question. but think about one or two things first and foremost before you judge someone by their actions......... "it takes two to tango" and "you haven't heard the other side of the story".

Because, they dont have any obligations to the mistress, he sees her when HE wants to, he sleeps with her when he wants to, etc. With a wife, he has to do these things if he wants to remain married & a divorce is expensive. With a mistress, he can have his cake & eat it too, so, she gets treated great ( but with no future ) & his wife gets treated like crap ( but she has a future )

Mistresses might get sex and gifts but.. who is he with on holidays and long vacations out of town?

they think that the mistress will do what every they please and their wives do nt want to do things and the mistress is the one who does the whole thing of making him feel special because their wives were not so what they think willing to do what the husband wants so that is why
