Good for you for at least trying to listen to it, rather than reading the Cliffs Notes or cheat sheets! It really is a good book, and you should read/hear the whole thing.

Check your library for an audio version, and some libraries even now have audio books available for download through their websites. (I know the Algonquin library in IL does, but that might not help you.)

Also, a few suggestions...

1. If you are listening to the audio version, I would recommend at least following along in the book as you listen to reinforce the reading.

2. If you really do struggle with reading, it's more common among high schoolers than you think. I am a teacher, and I am going to school to be a reading specialist. The fact that you are still trying to do your assigment, and you aren't giving up/dropping out like many other students who struggle with reading often do is very admirable. Keep up the hard work, and consider mentioning to your teacher ways you can make some accommodations so you are still learning, but in a way that makes sense for you.

Good luck!

Listening won't correct your spelling which is atrocious! The word Hay is spelled "Hey,". Didn't you ever have to take English as a language in school? Are you still in school? If not, you either need to go back or start with a dictionary whenever you decide to write something down or put it down on the internet.
