I have a mini-project due on Friday. The project is: "Plan" a field trip. Pick a place you want to go and take your class with you. It can be anywhere in the world, on a fairly realistic budget. I can't think of an original place to go. Australia is taken. I don't wanna go to Europe or Asia, where else can I go besides those for 4-5 days? I have to make an itenerary and stuff, so more detail is better. Please give me a good reason why I should go somehwere. Thanks in advance!

You could plan a trip to someplace different within the USA. How about the Everglades? The ecology of the Everglades wetlands (a.k.a. swamps :-D ) is a fascinating area of study. Plus, after studying the wildlife, you won't be far from the Florida Keys nightlife!
But if you really wanna go international, I hear Quito (capital of Ecuador, in South America) is a great city.

Plan a trip to Costa Rica. The people are amazing, the food is amazing, the scenery is-well, you get the picture. You could plan on visiting all the waterfalls, zip-lining, camping (watch out for the bugs). Tons of stuff to do, do some research

Do you have a particular hobby or interest that really catches your interest? (Let's say you're really into Elvis Presley impersonators---shudder.) Google for possible hits, and go from there. Good luck.
Something that catches *your* interest----your classmates will simply have to endure....but in charity, please don't decide to go on a field trip to the Top Ten Best Forensic Medicine Museums....unless you want to bring along a lot of barf bags and smelling salts (g).

Plan a white water rapids trip---- you have to do the project or take a failing grade... the choice is yours.
