How can I find an agent for a cooking show?

I am a self taught chef and I self published a cookbook called Housewife Cuisine. Basically I try to teach women how to cook using the internet, cookbooks and cooking shows as their guide. My website offers some recipes and techniques for how to cook using yor own ingredients in house to prepare fabulous meals you would normally get out. I have pitched this idea for a show and actually got a indie network to bite. Its nearing time to produce episodes for their fall lineup and I still have no agent and no way to generate finances that this show is costing me. The book did not sell it was not properly done I admit but I felt it was a darn good attempt. I want to be in television a cooking show is my dream come true. I just can't find an agent I don't model although I could and finding an agent to represent this field is so difficult. I have had offers for publicist but they charge $1500 a month which is more than my rent. So what am I to do now ? http://www.housewifecuisine.com
