which time . lol. I asked her 3 times the first time i just blurted it out and wasn't nervous at all I was 22 she just smiled and more or less said we need to straighten our friendship more before committing to anything so binding .
The second time I did the on one knee and told her that I'm sure But I can wait if she still needs time to think it over . she smiled and said ask me one more time in a little while . that time I was calm because I really expected the answer of yes but not right now ,At that time I was 24, Six months later after what I called my detective stage ,( I asked her family folks and friends If she had spoken to them about marriage and me ) .I took her to Dinner caught a movie at the drive in Walked to the swings at the front and got down on bended knee and said This is it Ive waited and I am asking you one more time Be my wife share our lives for ever . I never felt such gut wrenching anguish in all my life . as she paused and thought a moment . and then said I thought that I had lost the chance , She thought that I wasn't going to ask again . 21 years married and I still remember how great it felt to have that anvil lifted from my body . the pressure that moment created wow

I wasnt nervous, but hindsight being 20/20, I realized 8 years later what a mistake that was. Why are you buying the cow when the milk is free? PRENUPTIAL
