They need to:

1. Xray ALL baggage going INTO the cargo hold of ALL passenger jets.

2. Install chemical weapons detection devices in all seaport cargo areas.

3. Stop spending Billions in Iraq where the only threat to the US is to our military forces, and start spending it where it needs to be spent, here in the US.

The fact that we have not been attacked speaks volumes for Homeland Security. We need to tighten up our borders and shut down some of the Terrorist newspapers (NY Times) that seem to take pleasure in aiding the enemy.

D+. And I feel I'm being generous. There is but one state trooper on duty (part-time) for all of about 300 miles of coastline in Washington State. They could land the 6th Fleet there some night and no one would even know about it.

We're not inspecting cargo. We're not inspecting Ships. We're not inspecting ANYTHING. What we ARE doing is forcing AMERICAN CITIZENS to take off their shoes at airports. Oh and NOW of course you can't even have a bottle of water with you while waiting in a line for them to metal-detect your scrotum.

And the man behind all this BS? The one who orchestrated the attacks on the World Trade Center? Have we picked HIM up yet? Or is Bush just waiting to see if the polls are correct and the Republicans look like theyre going to be voted out, then he trots Bin Laden out to prove how on top of things the Republicans are? We have had enough time sine 9/11 to inspect, cleanse and fill in every da,m cave in Afgahnistan with CONCRETE by now. Now it's all "Al-Quaida, Al-Quaida, Al-Quaida. And Bush can't even control THOSE illiterate poop-pushers. Now the TALIBAN is making noises again. I see the problem as being mush worse 5 years after 9/11.

What would I do differently? Use the enormous budget for Homeleand Security (an even bigger oxymoron than "Military Intelligence") to actually monitor our borders. I would task 20 of the HUNDREDS of satellites we have in orbit to keep an eye on border areas where people are sparse, such as Washington, Oregon, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Maine, And Florida. I would deploy an array of motion sensors and laser "tripwires" also along those areas, to assist the Border Patrol in doing it's job.

Last thing I would do? Make it known to the entire world, attacking us is much too expensive. You blow up a train, we take out your family, and THEIR families. You blow up one of our buildings, your village is wiped off the face of the Earth. You attack us in force, your country becomes a new vacation spot for fat Americans to visit all the time (after the radiation dies down a bit, of course).

Oh yes one more thing. No more foreign aid. They just use it to buy weapons to use against us anyway. Anybody caught whining about it becomes a shoeshine boy in America.

And if Iran wants nuclear weapons so badly I suggest we send em some, airmail. We can always get the oil later. Or slant drill from somewhere not glowing in the dark. **** the rest of the world already hates us, we might as well do things to justify their hatred.

F We have UN SECURE borders. Thousands of Illegals enter the US daily UNCHECKED. Hows that Security. Our Rail systems are Un secure. We continue to suppress weapons to fight terriost. Such as wire taps ect. Maybe after we get hit again they'll wake up. When they have the Blood of thousands more dead Americans on there hands.
