I'll assume you have Windows XP
Right clk a .jpg file and choose: Open With
clk on Brouse and clk the program you want to view the pic with.
Be sure to check the box "Always use this program to open this file type" (wording close to that?)

Done!

It depends on what you want it to open with. However, the way to do it will be the same. Simply find a JPEG photo on your hard drive and then right click and choose 'Open With' when your choosing the program you can also make it the default program to open it with.

Microsoft Photo Viewer should be an option if that is what your used to...

The easiest method is to download and install Irfanview, which is an all-purpose graphics viewer/basic editor and all graphics should be automatically associated.
