The draft would be a good thing. The war in Iraq would be over in 4 months as the mothers of the draftees will be in the streets with the college kids screaming for peace. This is not the second world war but rather a fight for oil production. A war for a small hand full of wealthy people to get richer. The other reasons for being there is all hype and bullsh##.

I do not agree with a draft however it is quite possible. Ultimately it would depend on the timing in order to judge this question fully in its' nature. Let's assume that there is one then no I would not support it. I'm neutral toward this whole deal and I'm sure that there are lots of others as well. Those that are drafted who stand neutral or against the war would most likely not give it anymore support. Take those who volunteer! My family has 4 dudes ... and we're all we have. If they're drafted we won't have anymore males to carry our last name.

No! But don't look now. As I speak the news is reporting that the Marines are calling up more reserve and active troops. Draft can't be far away. Hope I'm wrong, but it's not bloody likely!
And no I won't support it. Dodged it in 1970, and I won't support it now. I won't even try to explain as the numbskull Bushlickers would never comprehend.

There should not be a draft, but there will be one. I will not support it, but will keep my mouth shut or loose my home and job. My two draft aged sons will get picked 'cause neither my wife nor I come from "connected" stock.

One or both will be placed in combat, probably in Iran, and one or both will die. I will receive notice, a little flag to hang in our front window, and a special sticker to place on our car.

I will die a bitter old man, my wife a bitter old woman, and our grandchildren will never be born.

Yes!! would i support this? yes!! I served during 1963-1966. one tour of Vietnam. We are calling our reservist now. Whom are we going to call after them? Remember we are not in friendly terms with Siria, Iran. Russia is selling arms to the terrorist. So is North Korea, and China. Make your' own conclusion!!!

Yes, not because I want to see young people sent to war but I would love to see some discipline instilled in this cry baby generation.
