I will imagine you know nothing of music!
I promise you i will not say anything sarcastic to you pertaining your question, yet i shall answer you with out all of my emotions deleted which i am feeling when i read this ***** question !
when you sing you need not tell the world what voice you have as matter of fact NONE CAN SAY WHICH VOICE THEY SING IN .... alright! highs and low range is all she had to do and does? you misspelled the word dear, it octave not optic woooooo! lol!
that is only done by either the instructor or coach whom teach you or someone who hears you and your voice then goes into a specific category!
So you see she did not just try to boost her majestic voice up for attention! NO critics and others all over the world whom has ever heard heard her agrees!
Her mother was an opera singer and trained her so how is it her mother don't know the voice she trained & what she is!
and she has nothing love to prove singing opera- No that is not how she has already proved thing all boo,you must do is listen to her sing the girl is one of the best note carriers and singers ever and what makes her great is her different style and this sets you apart from many and any!
she is a great singer ----do yall agree ??????? or is it only me??

Let's try Opera, since she can hit those "ever-so-high" squeaking notes; well maybe not, on the cause there's a chance of the chandelier falling...just kidding ;~D She should do opera though b/c I've never heard anyone hit the notes or "squeals" that she hits...

A 5 "optic" voice??? Optic means pertaining to the eye. For instance, an optomotrist is an eye doctor. What are you trying to say?

She has proved it and you may want to consider going back to school if you don't know the difference between optic and octave

That's "octave", hun. And she has proved it many many times. Most pop stars have a limited range, and although I don't care for Mariah's music, she has proved herself time and time again in that aspect.

I think you mean octave....and have you listened to any of her songs?? she sings really low and then sings that high note that sounds like she's squealing. That means she can sing really high and really low, which means she has a large range to her voice.

You probably mean "octave", not "optic". Leaving school wasn't such a good idea was it?
