ok this one's easy to answer, they are headed to the valior, which everyone keeps explaining as heaven but not quite. the valior is an elven land that was created by the elder elves, elven gods, ect. whatever you wanna call them that in case the world of middle earth were to be destroyed or under enough damage that it would be completly changed the elves could leave and go to this land across the sea. there they can live for ever and not worry about life. Now, Frodo left to go over there because he has seen SO much evil and distruction he could no longer live in a place like the shire, where not many believe in evil. He had to many scars emotionally (and probably physically) that he decided he had to leave. Biblo went with him because he was dieing faster now that the ring was gone (that's what had been keeping him alive so long). i hope this helps at least alittle!

The book tells you that he goes across the sea to Valinor, which would most accurately be described as heaven. It is where the elves go when they are ready to leave Middle Earth, and it is where all the elves came from. The "gods" of Tolkein mythology, the Valar, live there, and because Frodo and Bilbo were Ringbearers and couldn't feel satisfied in Middle Earth anymore, they were taken to the Undying Lands.

He lives out his days with the elves in a heavenly like place --- the wound he suffered by the ring wraiths will forever effect him, leaving Frodo weakened....his best chance for long life is with the elves and Gandalf.

He goes with the elves that are leaving middle earth. The elves 'diminish,' but since frodo isn't an elf, he probably just hangs around.

You really should read the books, they are SO much better.
Frodo and the rest are bound for the country over the sea, where the elves came from to start with. I guess heaven would be the closest explanation. It isn't well described even in the books.

I guess you need to use your imagination. I don't think there will be a Lord of the Rings IV, but hey look at Star Wars. Maybe they will do another LOTR to explain what happened to them.
