No. Blacks have equal IQs to Whites. Centuries of oppression have created the society we have today. Just because Blacks, Hispanics and Women are not in positions of power the way Whites are does not show natural differences in intelligence, only pervasive racism and bigotry.

BTW - the secretary general of the United Nations is Kofi Annan, who is from the nation of Ghana (if you know of a higher world position - let me know)

The people in power are always the ones that have the capabilities to kill the most people in the shortest amount of time. Why do you think that the U.S. don’t want Iran to have nuclear weapons?

Therefore, if the people in charge (the ones with the big guns) want to only hire their own, educate their own, and help their own, they will be the ones in mostly in high positions. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with forceful power.

In Africa, before invasions by Arabs and Europeans, Africans had their own cultures and kingdoms. They were in charge of the destiny of their own people. There were not plagues or mass poverty. There was no need for weapons that killed masses of people quickly. Once Africa was invaded and colonized, problems arouse as the power belonged to the Arabs and the Europeans because they had the powerful guns and wanted something that the Africans had: their bodies and their land.

It is not a matter of intellect, per se, simply a difference in culture.

I disagree with everyone trying to defend blacks. The statistics show that the percentage of blacks and hispanics who graduate from college is lower than whites, this is a clear indication that blacks are not as smart. Others may get angry with what I say but oh well. Facts are facts. There are differences in races and intellectual capabilities are one of them. Face reality people. Some deny the truth behind a guise of not being seen as a racist because it is forbidden. To answer your wondering: This society was created with white (European-decendent) men in power and this is still with us to this day. Our country is really not that old. Haven't you heard of the Good Ole White Boys Club?

The intellectual faculties of Black people are absolutely no different than white people. It's just that culturally there is a predisposition to employ white males in a position of "so called" authority and even then women of all cultural identities are under-represented at any level in "big positions". Are you male or female?

There was something called affirmative action that was supposed to alleviate this problem but I'm not sure what happened to it. Many people were against it because they thought merit should be the only determining factor as to whether someone gets admitted to a college or gets a job. But if you ask me, I think America still needs affirmative action because many African-American people are fighting an uphill battle whereas many white people are not. One of the reasons people have disdain for poor whites is because they believe white people who are poor are that way because they chose to be poor or because they are just lazy. Most people will agree that blacks and other minorities face an unlevel playing field compared to whites. Your question regarding whether African-American people have inferior mental faculties is ridiculous and I am not even going to answer it. You should know better than to ask stupid questions when you are stoned.

Take two white twins , send one to a top fee paying school that promotes learning and leadership , with a lower pupil to teacher ratio , set in a relaxed environment . Send the other child to a school in an inner city area , where teachers have twice as many children and far more emotional problems to deal with. Not forgetting the sense of betrayal and other social problems that exist in that area. Hey presto , i bet you after a couple of years the inner city child would not do as well as the other twin in an IQ test , incidentally formulated by the very people who send their kids to fee paying schools . Never about race, always about money , just a few black and white Muppet's never grasped that . Divide and rule , they always win.

NO! I wz a psych major (in my undergrad)... To make a long story short... research the topic & Google: "Stereotype Threat" - That will clear up any misconceptions. - Statistics are derived from a sample of the population, to represent the populus as a whole. ....By the way...psychology is all about data crunching, research methods and statistics. Trust me.

to the person above maybe if the W.M was to live in the ghetto and have a lower standard of living as well as educational standards and poverty you would be in the same boat but alot of black youths are not given opportunities so they squander their lives on petty things like crime and violence it all depends on the environment you are raised in and the values thought to you. if both races start on a level playing field then an unbiased answer could be given. i think there is no current answer the balance of power to high ranking jobs is tipped in the favour of one race because of racism you cannot say that the blacks and whites had an equal lineage to the current day.

No black people qualified as pilots in the Vietnam war. Whether that was due to lower intelligence ,I don't know. But I suppose you would have to be slightly deranged to want to fight in that war anyway.
