isn't a line supposed to be y= mx +b

so 8.50 is ur slope, 2 is your y intercept...isn't 8.50 = 8 1/2 = 17/2...?

insert #'s and figure out where to plot ur points... ta da!

i think it should be:

y = 2x + 8.50

x = the units that the employee produces every hour
y = amount of money get every hour

so your slope should be 2
and the graph is a simple linear line
