i had the exact same problem! i can't tell you how many times people had to witness a angry pregnant woman cursing in the baby book section of a store! i didn't really find much, i would say try to find an old fashioned book like the ones our parents had for us, there is no mention of 'how much mommy loves daddy' and all that other crap. i feel for you! lucky for me her dad grew up and we are together now, but i know how hard it is and it can be upsetting when you're out shopping for baby! try amazon.com - what i ended up getting was called "baby's memory book" designed and illustrated by Keith and Ivy Mosely, its a reproduction of a book made in 1985 and I found this was perfect - and i think it cost about 13-15 dollars? it's also not gender specific so it works for girl or boy. illustrations are just adorable!

I disagree along with your opinion-to a level. i imagine if a mom is basically being grasping and the daddy doesnt want something to do with it, then he might want to signal away his rights. hence terminating any economic felony responsibility (baby help) that he would ought to pay. yet I do imagine that once couples split-or no matter if or not they werent at the same time and the child became an coincidence (from birth control failing or no longer utilising secure practices) and the daddy does want to be in the childs existence-even with the undeniable fact that the youngster is going to stay with the mum, then through all skill the daddy can help help that child. He helped create the child (no matter if coincidence or no longer). basically because you didnt plan for slightly one doesnt mean you ought to basically have 2 concepts-abortion/adoption if the daddy doesnt want to affix the babys existence. You seem very ignorant-"in case you cant discover the money for a baby then dont decrease to rubble and characteristic one". heavily? have you ever had a condom spoil or birth control fail? issues in existence take position-the basically thanks to stay away from being pregnant in case you dont want a baby is dont have sex. Any time a woman or a guy has sex-they're taking that danger-hence in my eyes, they should be prepared to settle for and be to blame for the conseuences. both one in all them.

"What to Expect When You're Expecting" is a great book...it's not specially geared towards single moms, but it doesn't have that bias towards couples...and it even says so in a disclaimer at the begginning! "What to Expect the First Year" is also great.
