Yep in the UK and tis great. No problems. Use on laptop with inbuilt speaker and microphone and desktop with headset and mike. As well as one to one contact with others in various places of the world have used it for conference calls and conference chat sessions as well. The emoticons are much fun to use. Skypein numbers work well and using Skype out no problems. Have also sent and received files. No complaints and would definitely recommend.

Yes I am in the UK and its very good and safe - and when I say safe I mean dont put random people on it as they can phone you on ya pc rather than harass ya on messenger, oh and if ya get it get a good pair of ear phones as shite ones do ya head in when ya talkin to a family member or friend via skype

I used Skype and it's pretty safe. However, I would rather chat than talk. You can do more than one thing when you're chatting. Anyways, Skype is safe and reliable. You don't have anything to worry about except where to get the headphones to talk.

i happen to like it, although i get alot of people randomly writing and asking to call me, so i generally have my appearance set as offline. it's pretty awesome because i live in the states and my mom lives in the UK, so i use it to call her for free from halfway around the world. not a bad deal. sound quality is voice over IP, which is decent. wouldnt talk about anything too secretive though, since any hacker snooping packets you transfer could reassemble them and listen in on your conversation. course, there'd have to be someone interested in what you might have to say during a normal phone call and then that person would have to have know how as well... who's to say? for day to day calls for international long distance, however, i think it's awesome.

Yeah my mum does coz my dad and bro and sis live in england. We live in spain. Its really good, you can phone someone over the computer for free to another computer. And its really cheap if you ring a house phone. Alot cheaper than international rates.
