Why do people encourage you to tell them how you feel, and when u do, they say you take things too personal?

I know, that happens to me too. I have this nosy friend and she wants to know all my business. Then when I call her to tell her something she says that I'm 'taking it too personal'. Well, you know what? Your feelings are personal and if someone says that you're taking something too personal then they could go to hell!

they probably encourage you to talk because that's the best way to sort through your problems. maybe you do take things too personal, i think it would have to depend on the issue. do you have a lack of personal confidence?

if you tell some one how you feel, you want an honest response right? if there opinion is don't take it too personal and you take it personal then the problem is you. do you want people to lie to you to make you feel better?

Ive never understood guys. When you think you've got to know someone they do something unexpected. They drive me crazy. I think ive given up now

easy, cz people thought they could understand ur problem but actually they didn't
