it could be implantation bleeding.
sometimes when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus it causes a little bit of bleeding. some women mistake this as a tiny period when they are indeed pregnant.

it could also be just a tiny period.

take another test and believe what it tells you. they are accurate and if you are waiting for 2 weeks since you had sex then you can rely on the answer.

best wishes to you and if you are looking for tips on having a baby I suggest you read up on the different phases of your period and learn to recognize your body's signal that it is ovulating . SOme suggest following cervical mucous, some say taking your temperature. others just feel the twinge...
but dont' rely on calculations that you ovulate on day 14 that is incorrect for many women. it is correct for a few women but not all.

again... best wishes. i've been thru this (it took me 2 and a half years before conceiving) i hope it is easier for you

Spotting could mean a few different things, depending on what point you're at in your cycle. When you bled for just a day, were you just about mid-cycle? That could be ovulatory bleeding. If you were later in your cycle it could mean that you conceived and it was implantation bleeding.

It's important to know that it will probably take you some time to conceive. Even with no identifiable fertility issues, it can take a couple a year or more to get pregnant and you only have about a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant in any given cycle. So, for now anyway, relax and enjoy the process. It's not time to start worrying about why it's not happening.

The bleeding could be implantation bleeding, you need to take a HPT the earliest you can really take one is 4 days before your period is due.
Take another test.
Also to the above answer, you can get pg by having sex one time. You can also google pregnancy symptoms and ovulation predictor, you are most fertile when your cervical mucous is the consistancy of egg whites. Good luck :) If you need more info I would be more then happy to help you.

Be reasonable here, a month is not a long time to be trying to have a baby. Anyways... here's some quick learning for ya'

*Normal healthy fertile couple's still only have a 25% chance of concieveing each month.
*Estimated time for trying to concieve is 1 year.
*If you bleed AFTER your period is over, and it's not been at least 21 days since your last period then that it implantation bleeding (means your pregnant)
*Missionary postion is the best for concieving
*Prop a pillow under your butt, not only does it feel better to him (going deeper) but it helps the sperm get to you quicker.
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.

Probably not pregnant this time. Keep trying. Only a month of trying so far right? It will probably take longer than that. Time sex 14 days about after the first day of your period if your cycles are regular 28 day cycles. That's what I hear.
