My purpose is to understand?

Now my thing with Manish Lez women is be who you are, but I can tell when some1 is trying to impress me, off of how masculine she appears Guys do it 2 it's really Irratating. SOME WOMEN DO THIS not all, so for the sake of the ? I have to generalize a little. I'm sorry not offence intended.

Women are always going to be that in my eyes women. Act as manish as you want, wear long white t-shirts and cut your hair short or don't shave the pits. Whatever to me your still a woman. I will still hold a door for you, and treat you like my father taught me to.

Honestly for me to treat a woman like she is a man, she would have to lay out Ray Lewis in a Football game or something.

To me if your Butch or whatever, thats cool but your still a woman. So if you have a big load of Grocieries I'll offer to carry them or something like that, is that an insult to Butch women. Is there a I don't need anything from a man attitude, my help is really an insult?

I'm not a butch, but i am a Tomboi. If you held the door open for me the only thing you would get from me is Thank You, i would'nt be rude because i understand where you're coming from. I taught my son to be a gentleman also, hold open doors, lite cigarettes, pull out chairs, etc. There's nothing wrong with being a gentleman, Good Job. If anyone takes offends, screw them.

well, I would call myself ex-lesbian-butch, or better masculine looking woman. I always knew I was a woman, I just dress "like a guy" because I don't like tight clothes and too much tit-showing. Also, I wear my hair short because I don't like having hair.

To me, it has got nothing to do with wanting to be a boy, it's just because I like it like that...to me, confort is the most important besides liking my clothes...we can talk for hours about it, it will always be just because I like it like that, just like feminine girls like tight clothes. But if you look closer, you'll see that theres all types in womans clothing, I'm just "the masculine" extreme of the range.

I also think that society should offer more unisex-clothes, perfumes and stuff, because there isn't just black and white, there ARE feminine guys and masculine girls. And that doesn't have to mean they're gay. A friend of mine is a very feminine guy and he's heterosexual, just like me now.

Now, for the question about lesbians and being a gentleman to them: there also, you will have all kinds of lesbians. There are some that reject men totally and don't even realize anymore that they can only live in a home because men made them, you know, the total extremist type that wouldn't even have a heterosexual friend...and the others, which are open for men and thankful if they experience a nice man, because they maybe know somewhere that being lesbian is not really right. See it that way, by treating them nice, I mean nice BUT NOT INVASIVE, you can only do something good. I think lesbians have a wrong idea about men anyway.

there's a difference between a butch or "less than feminine" woman and a transgender man.
Not all women that don't fit the stereotype feminine are lesbians and most do not expect to be treated as men.
If you treat all people with respect you can't lose.

Are men offended when you offer to open a door for them if their hands are full or if you hold it open because you arrived first?

I agree just treat everyone with respect and you will know the dynamic once you get to know each other better.. Everyone has different hang ups and would like to be treated differently according to there beliefs...

Sherita he is not a hater, he really would just like to know...

Since I don't fit into any mainstream stereotype, I guess I'm not one to asnswer this. I don't mind if a guy holds the door open for me. I understand this is probably what he was taught to do. It's just being polite.
I'd hold it open for him if his hands were full too.

Good question though...

Well, it doesn't matter, first of all, what a woman's sexual orientation is, you're still supposed to treat her like a lady. It sounds like you have a lot of haterism in your game, bro. Even straight women would be offended by some of the questions that you have posted. It appears that you have a deep loathing for lesbians and you're trying NOT to be so blatant with it. My grandmother used to say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and I'm sure she definitely had you in mind with this line of questions. You are offensive, rude, and ignorant. Deal with your issues of homophobia and sexism first, and when you're better, come back and post like you have some sense.

i think if a woman DIDN'T want you to hold a door for her or something, then the most respectful thing for her to do is to just politely tell you so. you're being respectful to her, so she owes you the same respect.

Just treat everybody with respect and you won't have to worry about it.
