yes. Very soon there will be an event that reduces the world's population to a fraction of wgat it is now.
Those remaining alive will have the benfit of hindsight, and will ensure that they never allow so much power to be held by so few.
Genuine democracy will be installed, on a local government basis, and all armies will be disbanded.
The present method of governing is out of date
We need a complete revamp in government. Not just change the people, but completely change the way we think about government.
We will have constituencies of a maximum of 500 families. These constituencies will have total control over the lives of its constituents, with no interference from outside, They willprovide all of their own facilities such as school, health care, pensions, police, ar anything which they feel that they need.
If they feel that they are too small for a particular project or service, then they will negotiate with nearby constituencies to make suitable arrangements. There will be no higher level arbitrator. Full responsibility will rest at the local level.
The benefits of this are enormous. Firstly, everybody will know everybody else within a constituency, so when a problem arises it will be easy to get to the source, because it will be to everyone's benefit to do so. This alone will reduce terrorism and serious crime, and the desire to expand territory to a minimum. A sort of neighbourhood watch scheme in which everybody takes full part, and makes the decisions.
. Everybody will participate in their own government, because they will be able to understand it, and will have a real voice.
There will be no need for secret services, or secrets of any kind.
I'm sure you can identify many other benefits, and I'm also sure that any disadvantages could quickly be overcome.

Yes. But first the world will have to endure a devastating and murderous war where millions of people will become casualties.
It will be a war with religious connotations and will cause the break up of many countries where there are blocks of religions.
Nuclear weapons will be used by those nations that are beginning to experience large numbers of casualties from chemical agents.
When the war is over, a true and effective United Nations will be activated and it will vigorously fulfill its purpose.
People will relate to each other as neighbors and friends and a mixture of races and religions will take place in all areas.
True peace will reign for the following 300 years.

If we're still around try 3,000 years. Most people are ignorant to what's going on right now politically. As long as we are lulled to slumber numbness by the corporate machine with bigger cars, houses, and material goals whose got time to take a breath from their busy work days and see what's really going on in the world. The crazy goal oriented, coffee guzzleing, burn em' and turn em' world is outta whack. I think a wake up call is in order. A wake up call means WE GET IT. Finally we will understand that we went too far and we have to go back the other way to regain balance, harmony, sustainability. How many of you brain dead people out there drive gas hogs like SUV's and Hummer's. You are not helping the overall goal to sustainabliity and world balance. What happens here reverberates out all over the place. Peace begins with each and every one of us in our hearts and actions. How can we continue to consume and guzzle up the world's resources (just one example) and say that we are growing toward world peace.
Peace out brothers/sistas.

Who can tell? We can only answer in the light of our experiences. And as far as our experiences are concerned, we haven't seen much to be optimistic about an all-pervading peace in the planet by the time another century is over. Hate, depression, confusion, an appetite for unhealthy lifestyles, suspicion, anger - these are on the rise all the world over. We are almost hitting the nadir, you know, the lowest point. But the rise starts only after the fall is complete. Maybe, we shall rise in another hundred years. A brighter and better species. Maybe, once again, we shall learn to love, and believe in the power of it. As I said, who can tell?

Nope..i think by then, most countries would have had nuclear weapons, used against each other. Especially the muslim dominated countries...AUSTRALIA, US, BRITAIN and other allies fighting against IRAQ and OSAMA BI LADEN will have their day. War will erupt all over the world and there'll be a humangous loss of lives..on the rictar scale..BLOOD SHED every where and then you have the SECOND COMING OF THE LORD JESUS..where the earth will be washed up again and all evilness will be destroyed whilst the righteous people live to see him...WHAT A TIME THAT'll BE>

Yes.. In my opinion, we are living in the End Times... I do believe that in the near future Jesus will return & the Tribulation will occur & many will be decieved & some will be marytrs for their faith in Christ... Then Jesus & the army of the Lord... will return & abolish the Evil that remains on the earth... Satan will be defeated by then. Thus World Peace & no more evil will exist.
God Bless

My project predicts that that is one of two possibilities that are afford to today's society. The other is, quite frankly, dismal. Money and Greed mustn't over power us with a false sense of happiness because it is one within which, is very short lived. You can help, just ask me! Tell me what you would do differently, given all circumstance. I will make your voice along with other's echo in the hearts of congress and capital hill. Also, vote for the best answer, it will help our purpose.

No. Wherever there is a man with hatred, there will never be peace. People should realize that being human, we cannot eradicate an ideology such as peace. How do people define peace should be the first question.
