what is another medication to reduce swelling besides ibuprofen?

I use glucosamine for my arthritis and it works great!! But need to take it for 4-6 weeks before deciding if you like it or not. It can take that long to come into effect.

try not to get antibiotics. If you do, (after you are done with your RX about a week later) take probiotics to replenish your system. antibiotics not only take out the ones you don't want, it also takes out the ones you do want.

Swelling; where, how much, cause? Many meds for swelling depending on what caused the swelling in the first place. Example: Lasix for congestive heart failure, etc..

aspirin and naproxen. You have to take it consistently for it to have the anti inflammatory (prostoglandin inhibitor) effect. Also, take it with food everytime to keep from getting an ulcer.
