Is he actually dating this other person? You should talk to him and find out if he really does like you. Maybe he is just being nice. If he is dating someone else he probably needs to break up with that person asap if he likes you.

It is a bad situation, i have never understood why a person wants to posess another person's partner when there are so very many eligible singles across the world. Not only is it sick, it's dangerous. You really need to examine yourselves.
