Not only is normal but you could also gain undesire weight. This is the time to watch what you eat and do even some light workout. Good luck!

I know just what you mean! I haven't had a waistline in several years and it's kind of depressing. Our metabolism slows down once we start menopause due to the lessening of estrogen.

I think we need to eat a lot less than when we were younger and really watch what we eat. It's hard...I relate completely!

I also know that regular exercise can help, but I have trouble motivating myself with that.

Exercise is essential when going through Menopause. Weight gain is very normal. Are you on hormone replacement therapy? That'll do it too. There are days when I feel like killing someone rather than exercising, but it's really important. I get mood swings and the exercise really helps keep the weight down and helps with the mood swings.

It is normal for me! and if you happen to be looking for your waistline and come across mine please let me know I'll give you the address where you can send it back to me!!!

But joking apart...I'm going through the same thing too...the only thing that stops me going into depression is when I think that at least I've got my health and there are worse things that can happen to me at this age!

Come on! Women our age should relax and enjoy the wisdom that they have accumulated rather than worry about an extra inch...or two....or three....or.......;)
