You need to have this checked by a competent technician immediately! As Imerc stated, you're extremely fortunate you didn't have a fire. It sounds like you may have a ruptured Fuel Pressure Regulator. Most fuel injected vehicles have a vacuum hose that runs to the intake manifold to help the fuel pressure stay more constant under various throttle loads. If the diaphragm ruptures, it's a steady stream of raw fuel into the intake manifold when you crank the engine, which is sucked into the cylinders, and eventually runs out the exhaust. I have seen this happen on cars where fuel literally runs out the tailpipe! IMHO, have it towed to your mechanic and have him test the fuel system. HTH, Good Luck!!

I disagree with both them answers. Changing the plugs will help but you have to find out why it is fouling the plugs.
Have a fuel pressure check and see how much pressure there. There is a fuel pressure regular and it could be pushing in to much fuel pressure If it has a bad fuel injector and it is spraying to much fuel and not misting like it should it to will get the plugs wet
Hope this Helps

Surprised no one mentioned the fact that you have a potentially dangerous situation there. If you have raw fuel dripping out of an exhaust flange and your checking for spark, it could mean...
KABOOM!!!
Have someone with a little more experience look at it for you.

I agree with Jareihart on this one ...sounds like somehow your plugs are fouled with fuel (flooded engine perhaps). Either remove, clean, regap, and reinstall them, or replace them with new ones. Cleaning them is cheaper, but if you are due anyway, now's a good time to replace them.
Good Luck
