If you are more into code breaking and linguistics go with Digital Fortress. If you are into government intrigue, coverups, go with Deception Point. I'm tempted to say Deception point was my favorite of all his novels, including A&D and DaVinci Code.

I've read, and loved, all of the Dan Brown books. However, I'd have to agree with the earlier post that Digital Fortress was the weakest of them.
Honestly, though, they're both worth reading, especially if you like Dan Brown. If you have time to read both, maybe start with Digital Fortress, then read Deception Point next. Save the better for last. :)

I'm curious to find this out as well. I have read deception point and thoroughly enjoyed it, although Demons and Angels and Da Vinci Code were by far my favorites by him. Digital Fortress is the last Dan Brown left for me to read.

Deception Point.
I thought Digital Fortress was the weakest of the Dan Brown books. It followed the same formula as the other books, but the content and plot weren't as engaging.

They are equally good, but if you have not read Angels and Demons grab that.. the Dan Brown movie will be out in 2007.
