Use Dial anti-bacterial soap to clean it. Get the regular orangish liquid. A little Bactine after the shower will help too.

I'm pretty sure he meant the pool. I've had my nose done too, and the girl who pierced it said to avoid high levels of chlorine for the first little bit, ie. a pool. A shower won't hurt it. It'll actually help it because you'll be keeping dirt and grime away from the piercing. Make sure you use a mild soap though!

The peircer meant dont spend the day in the pool. Obviously you can rinse the nose with shower water, the level of chlorine isnt as high.

the amount of chlorine in water wont affect it
he just means dont go swimming in a pool or something
just be sure to clean it every time you get out of the shower or wash your face

Try 2 get "Sea Salt" or whatever its name is... It's marine salt, big chunks of salt...

U pour a teaspoon in a cup of boiling water, stir it, and wait until it's warm. Then U use it 2 wash your nose with it, it helps 2 heal your "hole" (lol) BIG TIME! DO NOT remove your "stud" (is that the name 4 the metal thingy in your nose?) for more than a few hours! I did that one day bcause I was late for work, and guess what? The hole CLOSED! ;0(

Just use the "Marine Salt" or whatever, and you're gonna be just fine, don't worry!

Hope this helped!

Nose-pierced women RULE!!! We are so COOL!!! ;0)

Taking a shower and washing your face isnt going to irritate it. Just dont get soap in it and soak it in seasalt and water twice a day.

it doesnt really matter... the shower isnt gunna hurt it... but the pool will it will dry it out and it wont heal.... a great way to clean ANY piercing is to disolve 2 tablespoons of crushed sea salt into a gallon of distilled water and juss pour some into a dixi cup and clean it with a q tip... thats what ive done with all my piercings.. and i have 10 juss in my ears...

i think people need to check some of their aftercare before telling others to follow it....bactine says right on the bottle, NOT FOR PUNCTURE WOUNDS! what do you think a piercing is? he was refering to swiming, hot tubs,etc...shower water is fine, follow the sea salt soaking everyone has said, but there is no need to reclean it after a shower-its already clean and this can dry it out. wash your hands before touching it please
