I believe in the idea of Santa... that good children can be rewarded for being good children, and that believing in the unknown can benefit in religion, health and spirituality.
I play Santa every year for pre-schoolers, and the looks on their faces when Santa calls them by name... that innocence... it's wonderful.
It's too bad all adults can't believe in a Santa.

I think outside of five years, The Claus should be played down a little and the real reason should be taught.
The Claus os ok but not the only thing kids should be taught.

i don't, but i rem i was a TA for pre-schoolers and they asked me the question if santa was real, i said no, and one of teh kids started to cry....since than i always tell kids that yes santa does exist....even though its a fairy tale but it does put a smiel on those kids faces....
