oh yea, the brightness isn't worth all that much, i'm fine without it being THAT bright.
but the overall shape is much better. it folds out better too. comes with a gba game bay blocker (false game cartridge) to prevent dust from settling in there. it's easier to hold.
the start/select buttons are in better places too. the mic is in the middle fold, instead of the side bottom
and best of all? the stylus is thicker and easier to hold for longer periods of time.
in fact... the ONLY complaint i have is that the outside, the clear coating on the outside top of the ds, it is... oily somehow. like oily plastic. it's so weird.
but it's a great system, better than the regular DS, so much as the GBA SP was better than the GBA

I like mine. The screen is brighter that the old DS, the battery last longer. Also, the stylus is easier to use, since its 'redesigned' for the DS Lite.

no stay with yuor old ds the screen might be lighter but thats the only advantge to it.

Yeah I have one. It is lighter and brighter! Just like the commercial :). The white looks pretty cool on it too.
