In Western Countries why the singers dance while singing ?In India the singer does not dance and the Dancer does not sing-Somayaji

Always work on your voice. Practice when your alone, if you don't feel comfortable in front of other people. But it's really great to work on your stage presence but performing in front of other people, even if it is only a family member. Take lessons and take advice from other singers. Watch how others do it well, and mimic them, but be your own true star!

Learn an instrument, write 10 of your own songs, record them, make a cd, and then book yourself everywhere; coffee shops, malls... give your cd away... try and get stores to listen to it... set up a website... get a manager... and above all else NEVER GIVE UP! if you have even a slight amount of talent, and you learn an instrument be it guitar or piano, you can be great. Take vocal lessons! Learn your talent backwards and forwards. Breath control. Dialect. Diaphram. Diction. You can DOOOO EEEET.

Get a great voice, a spectacular voice, because thats what its going to take, and audition for American Idol when it comes near your town.

Audition it plays and sing and i you live in california go to hollywood you might be lucky.
