I'll proffer two answers that would appear to be mutually contradictory. The first is Madalyn Murray O'Hair. I don't care that she was an atheist. I do care that she had to butt into anything that even suggested of religion in the public sphere. It seemed that her raison d'etre was to be the thorn in the side of every religious person in the country.
The second is Marion G. "Pat" Robertson. If Christianity had a unique definition of hypocrite, his picture would be next to it. It seems that he has knowledge of God's plan for humanity by the way hurricanes moved. Also, I never heard of him being against the death penalty until Karla Faye Tucker was next on Texas' death row. His call for the assassination of the President of Venezuela was just the icing on the cake.
While I would generally go with the annoy paradigm, I would be seriously tempted to take you up on the beat up proposition with these two.

I'd love to beat up Keanu Reeves, the worst actor in Hollywood. Also Mel Gibson because he is a king-sized jackass, which I suppose is worse than just being a horrible actor, but, God...Keanu must be stopped!

I would beat the Hell out of the most un-funny commedians who are making good money for nothing. First Carrot Top, then Collin Quin, and you cant forget Bob Saggat the most unfunny people in this country and I want to kick the crap out of all of them!!! AHHH!!
