tell me what u think... i thought of it a half hour ago.

i see you smile at me,
with in the crowd,
it takes alittle pain away,
that smile that knows no wrong,
i never told you what happend,
but you still,
find the right words to say,
and this is new today,

you showed me better,
than what i thought i knew,
im over him,
and i want to be with you,

it was hard enough ,
letting go,
then trying to forget,
what i used to know,
you had that nice side i never knew,
i never knew,
i never noticed it before,
you just came out of the blue,

you showed me light,
with in the dark,
and now i can see,
that missing spark

sorry if i didnt spell anything right

As I read it, it sounds like it would be absolutely perfect for a song. Naturally, I believe that any poem can become a song and vise versa. If you find the right rythym, those words can turn into a beautiful song.

AWEEE! That's beautiful! Definitely a song! I could hear it in my head as I was reading it. A really nice slow song.....Just pick a chorus with what you already have or come up with one.

leave it as it is, its just teenaged angst poetry, and isn't worth being put to music. but then, most new songs today aren't worth being put to music, either
