Al Sharpton! That guy ought to be in jail! I don't know how you dignify a guy like that who set out to become a famous leader of the black community by believing the lies of a pregnant girl and trying to ruin two white police officers lives in the process. When the girl finally came clean saying that she lied because she didn't want to tell her mother the truth, Al never apologized for the slanderous and libelous things he said, among other things. Now he's a celebrity? I'd like to see some white preacher pull the same sort of stunt and get away with it like Al did!

Hold on...I need to address the person that said blacks don't have it hard anymore. I am not saying that all white people have it easy BUT who ever said that black people don't have it hard any more must live in pleasantville. I live in Chicago where black life can be very very harsh and ugly. There are projects scattered all over the city where some people barely have working electricity.
And to all the rest of you undereducated haters LEAVE AL SHARPTON ALONE. Back up your ignorant statements with facts. The black community is lacking strong leaders and he is one of the few left of them that gives a voice to the entire black community.

Al Sharpton is a Racist Pimp who makes a living by attempting to play the "race card" into every situation he can find. He and Jessie Jackson claim to speak for "their people" and I know of no African Americans who voted for them to speak for all Blacks.
The only way they survive is to promote the idea of racism in America in order that their services will be continually needed. Al Sharpton use to run numbers in Harlem and the Bronx and The Rev. Jessie Jackson is having babies by other ladies and using money contributed by good black folks to keep his girlfriends quiet.
